Prioritize These Checklist Steps to Shift the Spotlight onto Your Home, Minimizing Personal Distractions. Complete These Tasks Prior to the Appointment, in Addition to a Thorough Home Cleaning. Present Your Property at Its Finest, Emphasizing Space and Quality.
Turn on all lights in the house, including small lamps.

Turn off all TVs, computer screens, and projectors.
CLUTTER
Remove all items on kitchen countertops and islands

Small kitchen appliances, towels, cooking utensils, trash cans, dog bowls, fridge magnets, etc.
Photo frames, faux plants, clocks, and other small items from table surfaces, mantles, dressers, desks, etc.
Put away toiletries
Remove toiletries, appliances, tissue boxes, etc. from bathroom counters, tubs, and showers.
Clear floors of rugs & mats
Remove small throw rugs, including doormats and bathroom mats. It will make the photos more spacious and less distracting.

Send away pets
Your pets are so cute, but please keep them in the garage, offsite, or in their kennel during the appointment.
Turn off ceiling fans
Make sure this is done before the appointment begins so the fans have time to come to a complete stop.
Curb Appeal
Move vehicles out of sight before your appointment
Make sure lawn and landscaping is neat and maintained
Remove signage from yard
Clear lawn of leaves and debris
Backyard
Clean pool and remove toys
Clear miscellaneous outdoor items
Arrange outdoor furniture
Realtor or Homeowner must be present during appointment.
